Based out of Toronto, Canada, POZPLANET is a sex-positive, anti-racist "out" HIV+ Queer online community (allies welcome).
Meet, mix, mingle, bitch, blog, preach, promote, post selfies, serosort -- it's all good!
THIS GROUP IS WHAT YOU MAKE IT! Content shared is member-sourced and/or created and should be relevant to HIV and/or LGBTQ communities on a global, national and/or local level. Content must be approved by administrators. (Please note POZPLANET is a PUBLIC Facebook group, therefore ALL content must meet Facebook guidelines). Content may be submitted in any language.
Please note POZPLANET is a not-for-profit volunteer-run entity with most group admin located in the EST time zone, however we will endeavor to approve posts and deal with member issues in a timely fashion. In order to serve you better, additional group administrators will be added throughout 2017.
Needless to say, NO spam, NO frequent/duplicate event postings and "Go Fund Me", "Kickstarter" are NOT ALLOWED. Aside from legit fundraising events, asking for money is NOT ALLOWED.
As with all groups on Facebook, BEWARE when responding to unsolicited private messages, NEVER send money online and ALWAYS be vigilant in guarding your personal information from scammers.
Please note our primary objective is fighting HIV/AIDS social stigma online and therefore POZPLANET is and always will be operated as a "Public" Facebook group. If you have issues with this for whatever reason, we recommend that you adjust your privacy settings regarding Facebook groups before joining and/or use an alternate FB profile to access this group.
Since 2013, we've co-sponsored the POZ-TO Awards, an annual event that honors unsung heroes and Positive role models fighting the good fight in the GTA (Greater Toronto Area). The awards are held on December 1st (World HIV/AIDS Day).
